480 Cantius @ Miami Boat Show

We had a great show with excellent traffic!  We displayed the 360 Experss 420 Coupe, 480 Cantius by Cruisers Yachts and 41' Rampage Express. We were able to get 3 clients involved with the 480 Cantius and 2 with the 360 Express. There was a significant increase in traffic, I read on MIBS site as much as 14% increase over last year. It looks like people are finally coming around to purchasing new again. It was great showing all he customers the unique design of the 480 Cantius. It truly is the blend of a Sedan, Aft Cabin and Express blended into one hybrid with all the best features of each. This is evident as you step up to the cockpit equipped with fridge, ice-maker and electric grill with seating for 4-6. You immediately notice the quality in the pocketed stainless steel patio entry door. As you step into the upper salon you feel the quality under you feet in the Amtico flooring. You are greeted by a panoramic view out the solid windshield and protected by the hardtop without the hassle of eisenglass. As you look up you notice the retraceable sun roof equipped with a block out shade. You have the option to walk-thru or walk around when moving to the bow. When you step down into the lower salon you realize how different this boat is with a vaulted or cathedral ceiling feel achieved by leaving the area behind the helm open. The lower salon is 6'8"+ headroom. You would have no problem cooking a gourmet dinner in the spacious L shape galley. You might think the forward stateroom and separate head and show is the master but you would be wrong. It is actual a VIP Suite allowing your guests the run of the roost. You move to the aft of the yacht and you realize how unique a full beam master is on a 48' Express. You will find the full length cedar-lined closet starboard is long enough for a dress without it scrunching up at the bottom. The Cantius is also equipped with a Splendid Washer/Dyer Combo.

You might think you have seen it all but before you step off the boat you peek your head into the bilge and realize you have 5'8" headroom and can almost walk all the way around the 600IPS Volvo Penta engines. These engines with move you across the water at 26-27knt burning only 35-38 gallons an hour. With just over a week until the start of the 2011 Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show in Miami Beach, Viking Sport Cruisers is busy preparing to present the latest lineup of Princess yachts in an all new location at 4300 Collins Avenue (Ramp 33).
Whether walking the docks during the day or taking in the sights during the near mile long drive past the show each evening, the view along Collins Avenue during the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show is nothing short of spectacular. In 2007, Viking Sport Cruisers moved over from the Biscayne Bay area of the Miami International Boat Show and exhibited for the first time at 5000 Collins Avenue. Arriving in style, the display immediately drew attention as we premiered a unique lighting system that cast a beautiful blue glow over the docks that dominated the north end of the show each evening.
Four years later, with the decision to move our display to a new venue adjacent to the 4300 Block of Collins Avenue (Ramp 33), the Viking Sport Cruisers team is busy preparing a very special showcase of Princess yachts for our arrival at the south end of the show. Our display will feature six Princess yacht models, including the V53, V58, V62, and 85 Motor Yacht, and will be highlighted by the much-anticipated North American premiers of the Princess 64 and 72 Motor Yacht. A full staff from Viking Sport Cruisers, Princess Yachts International, and our dealers will be in attendance to assist you and provide further information both on available models, as well as the latest product development news including the recent launch of the first Princess 32 Meter (105'), progress on the first 40 Meter (132'), and the announcement of a new 98 Motor Yacht.

Princess Announces the M Class

Princess Announces the World Premier of the M Class  ] Unveiled at the recent London Boat Show, the Princess 32M is the largest overall vessel to have been showcased inside London’s Excel exhibition halls.  At 32 meters (105') in length and over 13 meters (42') in height at her highest point, she only narrowly made it through the enormous South Hall doors of the exhibition center, posing a challenging logistical feat.  Once inside, however, the yacht proved an impressive feature at the show, dominating the new boardwalk arena.   The new Princess 32M is a remarkably accomplished long range cruising yacht, with an authoritative style and engineered to the highest sea-going standards while offering an unprecedented scope for an owner to personalize and specify to their own requirements.  Her huge salon features vast windows to each side and sliding doors leading out to a drop-down balcony to starboard, which gives the entire main deck the benefit of a spectacular open vista.  Offered with four or five guest staterooms, her owner’s suite is located on the main deck and boasts large windows that provide excellent views on two sides.  Forward, the equally impressive owner's bathroom features a spacious shower and separate whirlpool bath.  Belowdecks, the VIP suite spans the full beam and is complemented by an additional VIP guest stateroom on the port side, with a roomy twin berth guest stateroom to starboard that is reached via a central lobby.  Owners who enjoy cruising with larger groups, or those with an eye on the charter market, can opt for the five stateroom layout, with two double guest suites in place of the palatial midships VIP stateroom, as is the arrangement on hull number one.  The 32M is one of the largest hulls to date to have been produced using resin infused technology, significantly reducing overall vessel weight and so improving performance and range.  The inclusion of a state-of-the-art "glass bridge" control and monitoring system, designed by Boning and previously reserved for much larger vessels as well as those in commercial service, also makes the 32M one of the most highly specified yachts of this size range, creating a unified package that is both ergonomic and intuitive to use while visually stunning.  The 32M heralds the dawn of a new era for Princess Yachts, and a distinct horizon for the brand.    Approval has now been gained to transform the company’s South Yard site through a £45 million ($60 million) investment program to create an industry leading manufacturing facility for a range of larger yachts.  The early part of 2012 will see the arrival of the Princess 40M, a 130 foot tri-deck vessel and new flagship for the company, with construction commencing in early 2011.  Going into the London show, Princess had sold three 32M yachts and the first 40M to be built for a longtime customer.  At the conclusion of the show, three more 32M yachts had been sold, as well as a second 40M.  These results clearly point to a very promising future for the new M Class range of yachts.      Learn more about the new M Class, as well as the extensive range of Flybridge and V Class yachts as Viking Sport Cruisers presents Princess Yachts at the 2011 Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show in our all new location at 4300 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach.
